On October 20, 2011, we attended the Dr. Roz's Healing Place 3rd Annual Gala, "Victory Over Violence - Be Their Light" at This Is London in Toronto. Before the evening started, we spoke with Kendra Francis who is in charge of Community Outreach for Dr. Roz's Healing Place. Dr. Roz's Healing Place is a centre for empowerment and healing that works towards the eradication of violence against women and their children locally, nationally and globally.
