Rhoma Spencer is an actor, director, stand up comedian, broadcast journalist and storyteller is from Trinidad and Tobago. She came to Toronto, Ontario in 1999 to earn her Masters Degree in directing from York University and has lived in Toronto since. After graduating, she worked with the African Theatre Ensemble for two years before going on her own to do theatre from the Caribbean and the diaspora. Rhoma founded Threatre Achipilego (http://www.theatrearchipelago.ca/ ) in 2004.
