Rochelle Dickenson is passionate about helping Black children succeed in the education system. Rochelle is graduate of the University of Windsor (Honors Degree in Criminology) and also has a post graduate certificate in dispute resolution. She is a trained mediator. Rochelle is a licensed Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) representative. Rochelle talks and shares about various issues such as what Black paents need and can do to have their children succeed in today's education system in the environment of program cutbacks, what is an RESP, the importance to have an RESP for children (shows that parents are committed to child's education) for as little as $40/month, the fact that there are programs and scholarships available out there that we can take advantage of, the many ways that education can make a difference in a child's life, if Blacks don't pursue education we will be left behind and ; her thoughts on why some Black parents not investing in their children and their education.
