STUFF are live online conversations hosted by Dr. Vibe (Canada) and Jazz Keyes (United States) about current events and culture from a black woman’s and black man’s POV.

Jazz Keyes is a clinical psychologist, certified life coach, author, and motivational speaker. Recognized for her work as a community activist, Keyes has spent the last 10 years of her career focusing on empowering the lives of others. With an intense focus on women, people of color, and children, Keyes has been honored as a Neighborhood Hero by ComEd for her involvement in numerous community-based initiatives.

As a psychologist and life coach, Keyes supplies clients with the necessary tools and techniques to awaken their divine energy, heal their open wounds and create an aura of love, compassionate and tranquility.

For the last two years, Jazz Keyes has managed to grow her brand as a dating and relationship writer for two major media platforms, JET Magazine and Black and Married with Kids. Her first book, If We Knew Better: Soul Cries of Women Past and Present, is available here.

Ms. Keyes is preparing to begin her PHD program Fall 2017. She will be studying to receive her Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Couples Therapy. Keyes has devoted a great deal of her time and energy on mastering the art of communication to create healthy, dynamic, long-lasting relationships and to help others do the same.

Jazz Keyes is an aspiring bestselling author. Focusing on spirituality, emotional empowerment, and love, Keyes hopes to one day deliver soul healing messages as a television personality and international inspirational speaker.

Dr. Vibe and Ms. Keyes hosted the conversation Black Women And Entrepreneurship. Their special guest was Kike-Lola Odusanya.

Our special guest for our conversation tonight is Kike Odusanya.

Kike-Lola Odusanya is the founder of My Boss Is Me, a virtual global business and personal development firm. She’s a “serial entrepreneur” and a network marketing industry professional best known for a straight-shooting, results-driven approach to business and life.

Kike-Lola believes entrepreneurial experience encompasses life skills that all women should develop as a way to reach their fullest potential. That’s why she refers to the entrepreneurial experience as the ultimate life skill. She is on a mission to help women around the world see their deepest desires and dreams come to fruition through what she calls “the gift of entrepreneurship.”

She realizes business ownership is not for everyone, but Odusanya believes all women can benefit by exploring the mindset, talents, and knowledge of successful entrepreneurs and take control of their lives, proudly declaring, My Boss Is Me.

Lover of words, flowers, and anything sweet, Tamara Grant has a passion for writing. She spent several years ghostwriting romance novels and short stories and is currently back to publishing under her own name. Obsessed with Love and Hallmark Movies, lattes, and red lipstick, Tamara writes from a feminine perspective on Love, relationships, and life. Originally from Baltimore, MD, Tamara spent twelve years working as a licensed clinical social worker in Atlanta and currently works as an Intuitive Life Coach helping women discover their Divine Feminine.

Steven Kiges (pron. Key-jez) is the co-founder and director of The Coach Training AcademyThe Coach Training Academy is a professional, International Coach Federation accredited coach training school. Graduates have gone on to both build very successful solo coaching practices as well as taking their coaching skills to corporate positions including Microsoft, Google, and NASA, just to name a few.

Steve is a is an experienced Master coach with over 5000 coaching hours and over 10,000 hours mentoring people that want to become exceptional coaches or as he puts it “artistic agents of change”. To the coaching world, he brings both his own past struggles of growing up in a very dysfunction home, depressed, suicidal and at one point topping the scales at over 410 pounds. Professionally his first career was as a professional musician having attended The Juilliard School, playing various orchestras and as a university lecturer. After leaving music he then went on to build one of the largest Dental Software companies in North America and after selling that, followed his life’s passion of helping others. Dedicating himself to his core philosophy that “no one breezes through life…we all have our unique struggles. With the right support and environment, everyone can live life with purpose and passion often exceeding what they think is possible for themselves. His life is a testament of that philosophy.

To coaching, and coach training Steven brings a full background in neurosciences including; crisis counseling, emotional intelligence, Time Line Specialist, Master of Communication and a trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

His work has been instrumental in passing major legislation in the Maryland General Assembly, including marriage equality, the Dream Act and retirement security. His anti-hunger work resulted in an unprecedented funding increase from the legislature toward school breakfast programs for children. D’Juan currently runs a blog, HopewellThought.com and contributes for the HuffPost and Blavity.com. His current focus as an entrepreneur is creating jobs on the South Side of Chicago.

Victor A. Kwansa, Esq. is an attorney, education advocate, poet, and essayist from Prince George’s County, Maryland. He received a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University in 2008, and he graduated from Harvard Law School in 2011. His essays have been featured in Blavity and a Yale booklet for incoming freshmen. While at Yale, Victor co-founded WORD, a performance poetry group. His poetry has been featured in Essence magazine, CURA: A Literary Magazine of Art and Action, and Yale’s student publication, Sphere. In 2010, he was featured in The Root‘s online gallery of up-and-coming artists and entrepreneurs. He has spoken and/or performed at universities, K-12 schools, community centers, and even once while visiting a former slave camp in Ghana, his parents’ home country. His website features his poetry and essays regarding social justice issues and black historical figures.

Alfred Edmond Jr. is senior vice president/Editor-at-Large of BLACK ENTERPRISE. He is a content leader, brand representative and expert resource for all of the media platforms under the BLACK ENTERPRISE brand.
